Turtle Biodegradable Urn

These urns are handcrafted using recycled paper and non toxic glue. When placed in water, they will float briefly before sinking. The time it takes to sink will depend on the weight of ashes inside and local water conditions. Once the turtle sinks, it will naturally biodegrade over time. These are made in North American by skilled artists. The purchase of a turtle bio urn contributes to the preservation of a traditional local art form and the artist's that make these beautiful pieces of art are paid a fair wage in local workshop environments.

Since these are handcrafted, size, color and shape may vary. 

Urn is filled by putting ashes in the bio bag inside the belly of the turtle. Please secure flap with non toxic glue after ashes are inside.

These urns meet federal regulations requiring all containers used for burial at sea be 100% biodegradable. Please check with local agencies to ensure you are following all appropriate federal and local giudelines or regulations such as distance from the shore.
