Turtles are symbolic of longevity, protection and wisdom. Some ancient myths hold that the universe was created by the turtle - the shell formed the heavens, the body formed the earth, and the undershell formed the underworld. Therefore, the turtle symbolically forms a link between heaven and earth.

In this stunning sculpture, your loved one's ashes are incorporated into the Pyrex glass used to create the hand-blown turtles, which are attached to a polished Manzanita burl. A third turtle (also containing ashes) accompanies this piece as a pendant to be worn, and to rest in the egg when not being worn. It is possible to incorporate more than one set of ashes into the turtles; for example, if you have multiple pets who have passed away, each turtle can contain a separate set of ashes for each pet.

This sculpture measures approximately 9" x 9". However, some variations are possible due to the size of the burl used. 

How to order: Our artist will ship a kit so you can safely send the ashes by mail. Easy, step-by-step instructions are included along with a container for you to add the proper amount of ashes. A unique number is assigned along with the name of the person or pet. Our system carefully tracks each order throughout the entire process. You can be assured that there will be no intermingling of ashes, as our process keeps each order separate.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for your order to be shipped and any unused ashes will be returned.
