The scattering of a loved one’s ashes on water is steadily growing in popularity. The scattering of ashes directly overboard can be challenging since the ashes will drift around and can attach to the bottom of the boat. The Oceanside Shell White Biodegradable Urn is a wonderful urn for the scattering of ashes on water. The Oceanside Shell is 320 cubic inches, made of clay and cotton, and 100% biodegradable. It will float briefly, then sink gracefully and break down naturally over time. A highly detailed large shell sits upon the sand making this a large 17 inch lovely urn. Simply place a loved ones ashes in a biodegradable water soluble bag that is included. Then place the bag in the bowl. The bowl attaches to the bottom of The Oceanside Shell with biodegradable glue and clips. Remove the clips before burial. The bowl has a 5” flat base so The Oceanside Shell can beautifully sit on display during a ceremony. The bowl has an additive that is 100% biodegradable and allows it to be buoyant in water so it can float briefly before gradually descending. The urn can be used for ground burial as well.
