Crystal Cremation Jewelry Information
If you’re considering scattering the ashes of your loved one, but would like to hold back a piece of them to keep close, consider crystal cremation jewelry. This unique jewelry allows you to hold something beautiful as an everlasting connection to the one you’ve lost. Cremation jewelry will stand the test of time and will instantly become a family heirloom for generations to come.
Cremation Crystal Cut Jewelry is our line of cremation keepsake jewelry with our own gem cuts and our own setting designs. Choose a keepsake pendant, ring, or let us create a unique cremation piece for you. Custom orders, shapes, designs, or colors can be considered and quoted upon request.
You may choose from several color options. The colors of the crystal are influenced by the unique elements of each person's or pet's ashes. This is why we include a variation in the description of our colors. Please keep in mind that with the natural process of crystal formation we cannot predict the exact color of each cremation jewelry crystal.
As with our cremation diamond jewelry, all crystal cremation jewelry is handmade from the ashes supplied to us. It takes 8-10 weeks to create a crystal from the time we receive the ashes. Each piece is created personally with your specifications in mind. Our crystals are not diamonds, gems, or naturally grown crystal or mineral. They are created with the components of glass and ashes in a patented process to create a one-of-a-kind unique stone, which is then individually molded, cast, and cut. They are much softer than a diamond, which has a Mohs hardness of 10, and somewhat harder than onyx, which has a Mohs hardness of 5.
We offer a complete selection of popular cuts including: cushion, radiant, Portuguese, heart-shaped, pear-shaped, trilliant, and teardrop briolette. These cuts are available in pendant and ring styles and in your choice of metal including 14K white or yellow gold, and sterling sterling. Please note that the pendants do not come with a standard chain since most customers prefer their own. However, we do sell chains separately; please view our selection here.
Accidents do happen and if anything damages or breaks your crystal, the pieces can be recast. The value of your crystal cremation jewelry is twofold. First, the value lies in the intrinsic beauty and uniqueness of the created design. The true value, however, is in the personality that is reflected by your loved one becoming part of a work of art that is a distinctive, one-of-a-kind creation. Contact your insurance agent to arrive at and insure your cremation jewelry for a stated amount. In case of loss or theft of your cremation jewelry, the insurance company will not consider the intrinsic, emotional, and personal value your cremation jewelry keepsake has for you.
